🌱 Growing Together: Help a Family Grow Food This Season!
Something exciting has been growing at Grace Center! Our Family Empowerment team has now completed hands-on compost-making training with 400 parents—moms, dads, and guardians—across our community, and they showed incredible enthusiasm and determination every step of the way. With chemical fertilizer costs far beyond what most families can afford, compost offers a simple, natural, and free way to boost their gardens and maize fields. Now that training is finished, the mothers from Patricia’s Home are visiting every household to ensure compost piles are thriving and fields are ready before the rains arrive. The energy, commitment, and hope among our families this season is truly inspiring.
And now it is our turn to join in…Your gift of $15 provides corn seed for a family for a year of food security!
🌾 Growing Season Is Almost Here — and You Can Help!
This Giving Tuesday, we’ll be providing seeds to every family participating in the program. But this year, there’s a new requirement: families must show that their fields are prepared and their compost is ready. That means hundreds of families are working hard right now to ensure they can plant as soon as the rains arrive.
When you support this program, you’re not just giving seeds—you’re giving families the tools to feed themselves, year after year. You’re helping them build skills, resilience, and independence. You’re helping them grow hope.
