Surgery Center Phase 1 Complete!

When we embarked on the journey to build a Surgery Center at Grace Community Health Center, we knew it was the next right step for our healthcare programs but it seemed a formidably impossible task! I’m so thankful God loves impossibilities. In fact he excels at them! And so do our donors. With the help of so many people taking surveys through HundredX, giving donations both large and small, we’ve accomplished something great together. This week Phase 1 of the Surgery Center was completed! The building structure is in place and the roof is on!

There is still a long way to go to finish this building and be ready for the first surgery, but getting this far was more than half the battle and I’m so grateful for everyone who helped us reach this goal!

In a couple of months we’ll start Phase 2. The second phase of our project will be to put in the plumbing and electrical, floor, plastering, doors and windows. It’s a big task, but many hands make light work! Together we can accomplish even greater things.

I love this verse from Ecclesiastes 4:12 “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”

Will you join me in praying for God’s grace and favor to continue over this project and for a gracious outpouring of his resources to complete this next phase. Thank you so much!
