What does YOUR story say?
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

We live in a universe that tells the story of God without even needing words. We see the miracles God has laid before us and know he is God and he is good! If you need a reminder, come to Malawi and look into the African sky at night…the purity of limited distractions or other lights highlights the beauty of the stars even further leading us to the Lord all over again.

Our own stories also communicate God’s goodness and beauty when we look simply. Like with the sky, when we remove distractions, we see the Creator at work. Malawi has a way of simplifying and purifying what is important to us.
Over 10 years ago, Pastor Phiri and Karen saw a very real need for children in Malawi. It was important to them to not leave children hungry and without resources in their community for a hope and a future. They took ACTION and that action became part of their story God used for his glory.
What does your story say about the God who created you to become? What ACTION has the Lord laid on your heart to further HIS kingdom and HIS glory?
Debbie Brownlow and Chikumbutso, the summer they first met.
Circle of Hope Board Member Debbie Brownlow answered God’s call to join Karen on a trip to Malawi. Since that trip years ago, Debbie has taken ACTION for the people of Malawi going to Malawi many times, training teachers, helping instill leadership, and creating truly lasting relationships through sponsorship.
Debbie has answered the call of the Lord and because of her ACTION the story does not end with her. She has remained a constant in the life of her sponsor child, Chikumbutso, since they first met. Letters, hugs, pictures, and smiles tell the story of God’s glory in this relationship just like the stars speak of God’s glory for all to see.

YOU have an opportunity to take ACTION today! You see the story of the Lord displayed in the sky and in these smiling faces but what story does your life reflect? You have a chance to write your story and take ACTION because of God’s goodness! If someone is looking for the story of God through you and reading your life as that story, what would your actions communicate about God?
Take some time to ponder how God’s goodness is driving you to action today. Will your story end with you or will you reach out and impact others?
