All Saints Day- Celebrating A LEGACY Of Believers

The first Sunday of November is marked with a celebration of the members of the church who have left this earth and moved on to be with the Lord, All Saints Day.

As I sat in church this morning and listened to a beautiful sermon on the great cloud of witnesses we have as believers and living with intensional and thankful hearts; my own heart was propelled to Malawi.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
Hebrews 12:1-2
We remember and celebrate many saints today, our sweet Evelini included.

How intensional my Malawians friends live! What a beautiful example they live of making each moment count for Jesus' glory!

When in Malawi, I was moved to tears at how honest and direct Malawians were with their intent to **actually** find out how my day was going. We say 'how are you' over and over in our society but rarely mean it and their culture is PACKED full of deep questions and honest answers.

Today, I want to encourage you to live an intensional life. If you have been to Malawi think back on the feeling of love you encountered from our children...have you been sharing that with others?

It seems only fitting that today, All Saints Sunday, be marked by honoring those we have lost this year by intensionally sharing the love the gave us. Let's celebrate today with Legacy and Honor Gifts:

  • Legacy Gift- $1,000 allows you to place an engraved stone at the entrance to Grace Alliance University
  • Honor Gift- $100 allows you to place the name of a loved one on a plaque

As the Circle of Hope community, we have lost many saints. Our supporters, friends, and even our children have joined the great cloud of witnesses.

We will not despair!

We will CELEBRATE!

Who are you celebrating today? How are you passing on their love and embodying TIKONDANE?
