Send Emily to Malawi, Africa!

I have an amazing opportunity to serve in Malawi, Africa!

After following Circle of Hope International for years and serving with them in 2023, I’m beyond excited to return to The Grace Center this summer. I can’t wait to see how Jesus moves in and through our team!

This year, I’ll continue working alongside the dedicated teachers at Grace Primary School and the Early Childhood Learning Center. Partnering with Malawian teachers has been such a blessing, and I’m eager to keep learning from each other as we focus on teaching reading for lifelong success. Over the past two years, we’ve built meaningful relationships—ones that go beyond education and into the heart of God’s Kingdom. I’m excited to see those relationships grow even deeper!

Jesus is my best friend. I was raised in a family that showed me His grace and mercy, and now, as a mom to two wonderful daughters (11 & 7), I have an even greater glimpse of the deep love He has for us. No matter what, Jesus always loves us more!

For me, missions are all about relationships. When we invest in people, barriers are broken, conversations open up, and we get to share life together—praying, encouraging, and growing side by side. My favorite Bible verse, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, captures this so well:

“We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
