Send Elise to Malawi, Africa!

I have an amazing opportunity to serve in Malawi, Africa!

Hey everyone! I will be going to Malawi AGAIN in May, and I could not be more excited. I first went to Malawi with my family when I was nine years old, and again last June with my dad. Both of those trips have had such a huge impact on my life, including the major I chose to study-nursing. As soon as I left last summer, I knew I couldn’t stay away for long. I wasn’t expecting to go again this year, but I feel very called to go back. The people of Malawi have such a special place in my heart, and I am so excited to see how God works through me and in me on this trip. I made a lot of really good Malawian friends last summer, and I can not wait to go visit them again. I am most excited to work with Dr. Chiyembekezo, one of the doctors in the clinic, and continue to gain real life nursing skills that will benefit me in the future. I am also so excited to see Enala, the little girl that I sponsor. I really feel God’s love when I am sharing it with others. Watching what God can do brings me so much joy and truly makes me feel so much closer to Him. I want to go to Malawi so I can testify to others how powerful, kind, and loving He is.

When in Malawi, I hope to be able to work in the clinics and do basic health examinations. Dr. Chiyembekeze taught me so much about healthcare in Malawi, and we discussed how it compares to the U.S. He also taught me how to give shots and clean some wounds. These are both skills that are so interesting to me, and I love having this early opportunity to practice my future career. In the afternoons I love to spend my time at the school playing with, drawing with, and reading to the children. More than anything, I just want to be able to love on the kids and teach them about Jesus. I remember my time at the Grace Center so fondly and am just so thankful to have the opportunity to return.

Thank you so much for any way you can support me, whether it be through prayer, donation, or sharing my link. I am so grateful for everyone who helps send me back to Africa. I could not go without your help! Thank you in advance for partnering with me on this mission.
