Creating a Safe Learning Environment for Grades 1 - 3

Now through October 2nd, we have a super cool way to raise funds for our school without opening your wallet. Click here to learn more about our HundredX campaign and how easy it is to give feedback on products and raise dollars for Grace Primary School.

Having built a strong foundation for our students, we are ready to turn our focus on Grades 1 - 3! This year, we’ll be raising funds to create a safe learning environment for these students. The project is designed to provide a safe perimeter for the students, a covered outdoor learning space to promote outdoor learning activities, sufficient toilets for the number of students in the junior section. The project also includes equipping classrooms with teacher tables and chairs for small group math and reading activities, shelves for books and student cubbies for personal items as well as repairing/replacing broken desks, purchasing new Malawi curriculum student books, teacher guides, and supplemental curriculum.

Our 2024 HundredX dollars will go towards this building project! Your donation will help us reach our goal! Thank you so much for helping us create a safe place for our kids to learn.

Thank you so much for your gift to help us create a safe learning environment for our students! We are so grateful for your love and support.

Creating a Safe Learning Environment

Located at Grace Primary School, Malawi, Africa, this construction project transforms the junior section (Grades 1-3) of our school into a safe, conducive environment for whole child learning. The project is designed to provide a safe perimeter for the students, covered outdoor learning spaces to promote outdoor play and expand instructional areas, and sufficient toilets for the number of students and teachers in this section. The project also includes equipping classrooms with teacher tables and chairs for small group math and reading activities, shelves for books and student cubbies for personal items as well as repairing/replacing broken desks, purchasing new Malawi curriculum student books, teacher guides, and supplemental curriculum.

With no structured perimeter, students run off and strangers wander in leaving our students vulnerable and unsafe. Eliminating traffic through the school, will enable teachers and students to settle into learning, as a result our students will become stronger learners and receive better instruction because they will be able to focus on their school work in a safe environment conducive to learning.

By providing adequate toilets for the student body, our students will be healthier, more attracted to being at school, able to return to class more quickly, and therefore better able to focus on their school work.

The stimulating outdoor learning area is for whole body activities, science lessons, quiet reading, and much more.
